Honestly, I think I had the worst style when I went to college! I had no clue about fashion. Shabby chic has been my go to style since I was a teenager (still love it), but paired with my dental braces and skinny legs it just looked super dorky. Now I know the secret trick to a great college outfit and I would love to share it with you!

Girls and boys – first of all – a word of advice: Be careful dressing too sexy for school! It’s not just distracting for your fellow students but you’re going to thank me for this reminder when you’re out of college and try to get placed in a great company. Nowadays everything ends up on social media, so protect yourself and your future. Trust me on this, I wish I could delete half the terrible wardrobe malfunction photos of me that float about…

My secret to a great look is always: Just be yourself! School is all about discovering who you want to be. Don’t listen to what other people say, you’re already awesome just the way you were born! And here is my style trick to a great college look: graphic prints and poppy colours! You can be covered from head to toe, but you’ll always stand out if you’re dipped in happy colours and fun prints!

For a recent college appearance I opted for this super cute boxy dress from Tommy Hilfiger, paired with statement jewellery from Outhouse and cute red heels! This look works great with leggings or sneakers, too!

I’m not that fashionable but I follow a simple rule of style using the colour wheel. Pairing bottoms with their complementary colour or same colour with lighter shade. I guess it means i also follow #WearWashLoveRepeat!!!
